We arrived in Turin today after flights to Cincinnati, Paris and finally into Turin this afternoon.  We waited for our bags to arrive and then we were taken on a long car ride by one of the many Olympics volunteers in search of our housing.  

 

Unfortunately, the address wasn’t on his list of stops so it took a while to find it in the city and once we got there they didn’t have us arriving until three days from now.  After a bit more waiting we finally got our room, dumped out gear and went in search of the main press center.  

 

In the photo above Rox looks out over the city as we come up upon the press center complex, which is a small part of what used to be a huge Fiat factory.  Below is the view from the street in front of our housing.
